what I saw that I couldn’t tell

2014, collage-digital

It is a collage series which is created by the images from the scenes of my dreams. Sometimes they reflect surreal images of my feelings or my personal life; sometimes they can be about my fear of loneliness and getting lost or being unsuccessful on what I am doing. I try to imitate the process of dreaming by making collages of different common images and creating new meanings from them.
Each piece of collage work also has a short text which reflects my emotional situation in the dream.

It is snowing…How come in this season? Such a heavy snow! Walls made of snow. I am looking to the city from the balcony, to the white city…while trying to understand the situation, the shining sea is placed at the sky.
The horizon is ambiguous when the sky and the earth become a whole. In all of these uncertain images, I am trying to chase analytical calculations. Then I draw a line on the sky with a definite angle from nonexistent horizon… and I draw another one… another one… one more time…
You were yet to leave…
I was yet to find you…
Tiger rocks… while climbing up to complete your duty… tiger rocks… Be quiet… small steps, your life is in danger. Is it important to reach the end or to protect yourself?
